 Job Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial department, establishing and maintaining a comprehensive financial system, supervising accounting teams, ensuring the integrity of financial records and operations, and providing strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making while ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

 key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s financial system and ensure continuous improvements.
  • Supervise the accounting team and oversee daily financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and analyze company performance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and provide proactive financial insights.
  • Review contracts and procurement activities from a financial perspective.
  • Coordinate payroll processes with the HR department.
  • Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, inventory) to monitor expenses.
  • Represent the company in front of financial institutions, auditors, and government bodies.
  • Establish and enforce internal financial policies and controls.
  • Produce financial studies and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.

 Required Qualifications and Skills

 Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • CPA – Certified Public Accountant
    • CMA – Certified Management Accountant
    • MBA with a focus in Finance (is a plus)

 Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Modeling).
  • Experience with ERP accounting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ability to analyze data using tools like Power BI or financial dashboards.
  • Understanding of local taxation and regulatory frameworks.
