Job Summary:
Jadwa is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee energy-related projects including oil, gas, and solar. The selected candidate will manage project planning, execution, and delivery within defined scope, time, and budget, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The Project Manager will serve as the main liaison between clients, internal teams, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution
- Create detailed project plans (scope, budget, schedule, risk)
- Set clear project objectives and deliverables
- Track project performance and implement corrections as needed
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, vendors, contractors)
- Optimize resource allocation and manage competing priorities
- Promote collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder and External Communication
- Serve as primary client contact
- Report project updates and address challenges promptly
- Ensure consistent client satisfaction and transparency
- HSE Compliance
- Enforce HSE standards during all project phases
- Promote internal and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with regulations in the energy sector
- Financial Oversight and Quality Control
- Manage project budgets and expenditures
- Monitor cash flow and cost control with finance
- Deliver quality outputs and document project phases
- Conduct post-project reviews and suggest improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Master’s or PMP certification is a strong asset
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience managing projects in the power sector
- Proven success in full-cycle engineering or field service projects
Technical Competencies:
- In-depth understanding of oil, gas, and power sector operations
- Familiarity with API, OSHA, ISO regulations
- Proficiency in MS Project and ERP tools
Personal Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Excellent decision-making and multitasking abilities
- Strong financial acumen
- Advanced level of English
