The Project Manager operates within the General Management Department of Jadwa Alyaqin Investment Company, reporting directly to the Chairman of the Board. He is responsible for leading the establishment and operational launch of a new Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company by developing, implementing, and supervising administrative, operational, and technical systems to ensure full readiness, compliance, and long-term sustainability.

Job Objective:
Lead and coordinate all phases of the project—from planning to execution—by managing logistics operations, supply chains, workforce planning, warehouse management systems, and standard operating procedures to achieve operational efficiency, compliance, and growth.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee licensing and registration with governmental authorities (Municipality, Customs, Transport, Trade, Civil Defense).
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all logistics activities (storage, loading, transport, delivery).
  • Design and deploy Warehouse Management System (WMS) and shipment tracking platforms in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Establish a comprehensive operational organizational structure defining departments, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Identify staffing and technical requirements and implement recruitment and training plans.
  • Develop and execute a Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC) program for warehouse operations.
  • Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track operational and financial performance.
  • Supervise end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Manage operational expenses and recommend corrective actions for budget deviations.
  • Develop and implement a risk management plan covering operational and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Manage supplier and contractor agreements, ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting progress and recommendations.
  • Provide strategic input for expansion, automation, and technological integration.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferably holds CSCP / PMP / MBA certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Strong experience in designing operational frameworks and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP / WMS / SCM systems and analytical reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and advanced Excel tools.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
