Job Objective
Support the Governance and Compliance Officer and executive management in monitoring internal operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and contributing to fostering a culture of compliance within the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Governance and Compliance Officer in monitoring daily operations.
- Verify the completeness and periodic update of compliance documents.
- Conduct monthly sample reviews for Finance, HR, and Logistics departments.
- Support the preparation of periodic reports for executive management and regulators.
- Manage compliance records (conflict of interest, whistleblowing, risk registers, coding tracker).
- Maintain proper archiving and document coding according to company policies.
- Collect data and evidence to support audits and reviews.
- Document observations and follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Coordinate compliance and professional conduct training programs for staff.
- Prepare awareness materials (brochures, newsletters, presentations) to promote compliance culture.
- Receive and document complaints or reports through designated channels.
- Assist in organizing compliance-related meetings and workshops.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Governance and Compliance Officer or executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative fields (preferably in financial or investment institutions).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- High organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Relationships
- Reports to: Governance and Compliance Officer + Executive Management.
- Internal: All departments (Finance, HR, Procurement, Feasibility Studies, Media, Legal Office, Logistics).
- External: Partners, contractors, and investment funds.
