Position
We are looking for a Field Survey Project Coordinator – Economic Data to join our team in Aleppo. The coordinator will be responsible for designing data collection tools, managing field survey teams, supervising data collection and analysis, and ensuring the production of accurate and reliable reports that support the company’s investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design questionnaires and field tools (paper-based or digital).
- Draft clear and accurate questions aligned with project objectives.
- Recruit and train field enumerators and develop fieldwork plans.
- Supervise data collection and ensure quality during implementation.
- Use statistical analysis software (SPSS, STATA, Excel).
- Prepare analytical reports highlighting market and economic trends.
- Liaise with local partners to facilitate access to samples and respondents.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a professional format.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing or coordinating field surveys.
- Proven experience in economic or social data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing) – mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Applied Economics, Data Analysis, or Research Project Management.
- Training in questionnaire design and data collection tools.
- Training in statistical software (SPSS, STATA).
- Experience in managing field teams.
- Courses in negotiation and conflict resolution.
