Position

We are looking for a Solar Energy Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining solar energy systems to ensure efficient energy generation and compliance with international standards. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-performance solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer solar energy systems, including PV and solar thermal.
• Prepare layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD and modeling software.
• Oversee and manage solar system installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and timelines.
• Calculate loads, optimize panel placement, and integrate inverters, batteries, and mounting structures.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and energy audits to ensure system efficiency and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues.
• Research and evaluate new solar technologies for possible integration.
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation to clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solar energy and power systems.
• Hands-on experience in solar plant design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and energy modeling software (e.g., PVsol, SAM, MATLAB).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
• Safety certifications (HSE/OSHA).
• Knowledge of advanced solar technologies (bifacial panels, energy storage systems).
